Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Do you want powered filtration into a removable glass pitcher that you lift and pour, rather than gravity or button dispensing?
AquaTru lists a powered RO cycle that fills a removable 64-ounce glass carafe; this exact package includes 10AT100VFA01 and serves by pouring. Capacity is not an immediate output from the feed tank.

The exact variant SKU is 90AT100SCA01, and its final-filter code is 10AT100VFA01; the other final-filter route is a separate product option.

The Smart manual documents North America app support and Wi-Fi onboarding before installing filters and running the system.

AquaTru's Carafe Smart with Alkaline Mineral Boost is a countertop reverse-osmosis purifier whose clean-water output ends in a removable glass vessel. Exact SKU 90AT100SCA01 combines the Smart model with the Alkaline Mineral Boost VOC Filter. Its filtering cycle is electric, but serving is not: remove the carafe and pour. This makes it different both from a gravity-fed pitcher and from a button dispenser whose water stays behind the machine's outlet. That distinction should lead your comparison before the smaller details of phone tracking or taste.
The maker lists a 64-ounce / 1.9-liter clean-water carafe and a separate 2.5-liter tap-water tank. Eight cups is the site’s eight-ounce serving conversion of that 64-ounce vessel, not a promise of eight cups ready at the instant the feed tank is filled. The appliance is about 7.5 inches wide by 14 deep by 13 high and weighs approximately nine pounds empty. It needs a 120-volt outlet and room to lift out both vessels. Its compact carafe helps keep the purified water portable, but the machine itself occupies a fixed piece of counter space while it runs.
Mineral boost, app tracking and the routine they change
The manufacturer describes the alkaline finishing filter as adding calcium and magnesium after the reverse-osmosis stage. That is a maker-listed mineral/taste feature, not a basis for claiming a health benefit. The performance sheet lists a distinct VOC Carbon with pH + Mineral Boost replacement filter (10AT100VFA01), while the standard Carafe uses 10AT100VF01. Both are 300-gallon / 12-month final filters under the sheet. Select the boost because you want the maker’s mineralized finish; do not assume it creates a different contaminant test record from the standard route.
Although the sheet names the mineral-boost cartridge, it maps only the AT100–AT140 system family and does not connect SKU 90AT100SCA01 one-to-one to a tested code. Treat the listed reduction tests as family-level context and request an exact SKU-and-cartridge record before relying on a particular reduction.
The Smart label is also more than a visual finish. AquaTru says its app can show filter life, water usage and reminders; the Smart manual adds TDS levels and bottles-saved tracking. A TDS number is not a full water-quality analysis. The manual directs users to connect to Wi-Fi before installing filters and running the purifier and limits app support to North America. Someone who does not want a connected setup may prefer the non-Smart alkaline SKU, which keeps the mineralized filter choice but avoids the Smart app feature. If you want neither mineral boost nor app tracking, the standard non-Smart Carafe is another distinct configuration.
Read the test sheet as carefully as the option name
The Carafe performance sheet is for the AT100–AT140 product family, lists NSF/ANSI 42, 53, 58, 372 and 401, and names reductions in tests including lead, fluoride, PFOA/PFOS, cysts, chlorine, chloramine and TDS. It includes both the VOC and mineral-boost VOC final-filter part numbers. These are specified test results under standard laboratory conditions; the sheet itself notes that actual performance can vary and does not promise removal of every substance present in a particular home. The owner manual limits the input to cold municipally treated water or a supply already known to be microbiologically safe. The fact that a test table contains a cyst result does not turn this unit into an emergency purifier for unsafe water.
One output specification is not consistent: the Carafe Smart manual says 39 GPD, while the later Carafe performance sheet lists 35 GPD. Neither resolves the other, so a daily production number should not be used as an exact household supply promise. The most concrete capacity is the removable 64-ounce carafe. The PDS also reports 63 percent efficiency under typical operating conditions and states that results vary.
Expect a maintenance routine, not a set-and-forget pitcher
The pre/carbon filter is listed at 300 gallons or six months, the reverse-osmosis filter at 600 gallons or 24 months, and the alkaline VOC finishing cartridge at 300 gallons or 12 months. Each has its own indicator. When prompted to refill, dump the concentrated remainder from the tap-water tank before adding fresh cold water; the manual warns that leaving it can damage the purifier and void the warranty. Wash the tanks and carafe weekly by hand, keep them away from direct sun and heat, and prevent scale from blocking the RO cycle. Water above 10 grains per gallon hardness is not recommended unless it has first been softened.
This version is most plausible for a small household that wants both a pourable glass carafe and the maker's post-RO mineral feature, and accepts Wi-Fi onboarding and three cartridges. A non-Smart boost model retains the flavor route without app tracking; Smart VOC retains the app but drops the boost. If easy cleaning, no power, water from an unknown source, or dispensing into a cup without lifting a carafe is the priority, the added Smart and mineral features do not solve those mismatches. The supplied image is an official studio composite showing the Smart phone overlay, mineral-boost seal and promotional badge; it is not a test result or a household photograph.
